LUBAWAY, MASTEN was founded in 1990, and operated by Bill Lubaway and Joe Masten until their retirement in 2008. The concept of the firm has been to work with the client in a manner that would retain the intellectual assets with the facility in the development of strategic financial services.

The firm attracts employees who have multiple skill sets that bring value to clients, are “hands-on”, able to work well with all levels in the client environment, and able to leave the knowledge with the client through training, work papers, and financial modeling. LMC is able to add value in the delivery of this skill set by keeping overhead costs low and investing in the client.

Illustrative of his character and the company he built, Bill Lubaway was the recipient of the 2008 Fredrick C. Morgan Individual Achievement Award presented by national HFMA at the 2008 Annual Institute. The Award is HFMA’s most prestigious award, and recognizes an individual for outstanding contributions over the course of the honoree’s career.

Nancy Drury and Debby Sieradzki, two long time employees of LMC, now manage the firm in an effort to retain the culture environment created by the founders. Bill Lubaway continues as a part time employee and advisor.
